New Alignments is The Syzygy Theatre Group's free new play reading series. It's purpose is to provide playwrights with the opportunity to receive feedback on works-in-progress, to provide the community with an opportunity to participate in and observe the creative process, and to provide actors and directors with an opportunity to hone their craft. Immediately following readings, there will be an audience discussion of the play with the playwright, and the reading's director. The discussion will be facilitated by Syzygy's Artistic Director, Martin Bedoian, and The Los Angeles Writers Centers Producing Artistic Director, CheRae Adams.
